The South End Business Alliance gave out Legacy Awards to local institutions. J.J. Foley’s is 112 years old, Jacobson’s is age 82, and Olympia Flowers dates back 125 years. Five nonprofits are over age 100: Animal Rescue League, Ellis Learning Center, Boston Medical Center, USES and the Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute.
