While aging hippies celebrated the 64th anniversary of Woodstock in August, Mayor Wu performed her own annual “back to the garden” ritual with the city’s awards for best gardens.

In the Community Gardens category, the Berkeley Community Gardens received first and second place with Jenny Li & Mark Springel winning the top spot and Dimple Patel coming in number two.
