A luxury car “vault” has opened in the East Fens, where buyers can request a custom buildout of a one- or two-car garage in an already existing parking lot, to the tune of $200,000.

The vault is located at 12 Stoneholm Street, about two blocks from Berklee College of Music and apparently contained within the onsite Stoneholm Apartments complex, according to an Instagram post by Jackie O’Connor Real Estate advertising the vault as “The Ultimate Car Sanctuary.”

One promotional image of the vault shows a silver Porsche 550, one of only 90 ever made, as well as a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a yellow bicycle, and a toolbox. On the wall hangs a neon yellow sign bearing the Lamborghini logo.

“Welcome to The Car Vault, Fenway,” O’Connor’s post is captioned. “Boston’s Ultimate Automotive Sanctuary! For the true car enthusiast, this isn’t just parking.

It’s a lifestyle. Located near Fenway and Back Bay, The Car Vault offers a custom built, luxury garage experience like no other. Own your own private car vault while they’re still available!”

According to the post, the custom build of each space includes steel walls, epoxy floors and cabinets, and each unit comes with a vacuum and compressed air “for easy upkeep.” The parking lot also features a “24/7 onsite concierge for security & peace of mind,” O’Connor’s post states.

Each space counts as a condominium, with “low monthly fees” including a condo fee of $25, insurance of $2.50, and real estate tax of $80. Buyers can either opt for a single car or two car space. The former starts at $150,000, while the latter from $399,000. According to Boston. com, the garages measure 17-by-17 feet and 21-by-17 feet, respectively, and there are a total of 20 units in the parking lot.

The vaults themselves are not advertised, as they appear to cater only to luxury clients. O’Connor does not list them on her website. Boston.com states that they are not available on MLS, a service used by real estate professionals to list available spaces, but that interested buyers can contact. O’Connor did not respond to requests for comment about the Car Vault.

The vault is also not advertised on location, as there is no “Car Vault” signage anywhere near 12 Stoneholm Street, and when the in-building parking lot door opened, no garage buildouts were visible.

At a minimum of $150,000, however, the vault is still the cheapest of some absurdly expensive parking spots in the city, with many more amenities to offer. A single indoor parking space, for example, was listed in March at the Brimmer Steet Garage on Beacon Hill for $750,000.
