The Fenway Community Development Corporation celebrated its 50th (or golden) anniversary at a Red Sox hosted Gala on June 21. Appropriately enough, given all that has happened in the neighborhood over the last 50 years, gold symbolizes beauty, strength and corrosion resistance.
