There are two contested Democratic primaries in parts of Boston on September 1. The outcomes will have a significant impact on affordable housing, the city’s financial well-being, and our quality of urban life.

Nick Collins

State Senators Nick Collins (who represents the South End, Chinatown, Dorchester, and Seaport/South Boston) and Will Brownsberger (Fenway and Allston Brighton) are being “primaried” by Mayor Michelle Wu for questioning the city’s revenue projections on residential real estate taxes.

Will Brownsberger

Both men are known for their integrity and commitment to social progress. They also believe that elected officials represent their constituents, not the mayor.

Kevin Hayden

The third important race is for Suffolk County District Attorney. The incumbent is Kevin Hayden who has worked tirelessly to be a voice of reason and fairness in these insane times. As we say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
