Feeling down as 2025 has highlighted a president focused on self interest and greed, a federal government denying science and elected officials not caring about the less fortunate?

A pediatrician by training, she founded Boston Community Pediatrics (BCP) on Albany Street in the South End five years ago. It was the first first nonprofit pediatric private practice in Massachusetts, and one of the first in the country.

Believing that every child deserves healthcare regardless of parental income and circumstance, BCP now serves over 1,700 young patients and Riseberg is planning at least two new facilities in the future. Her efforts will not generate billions in personal net worth as BCP relies, in part, on philanthropy to support itself. Then again, Riseberg sleeps well after 12+ hour days at the clinic.
