The Downtown Business Alliance has installed a mural on the wall bordering Macy's off Summer Street.

This work is called Hub of the Universe and was created by local artist Ponnapa Prakkamakul.

The design was inspired by the area’s history: from a story of the first subway in the United States to a place where artists and literati gathered. The mural also presents playful details from surrounding buildings, street furniture, and public art.
