Many Bostonians associate the swan boats in the Public Garden with tranquility, something that has definitely been missing in our lives over the last 14 months.
This Saturday, however, they will return and be part of our lives until Labor Day.
The tradition was started in 1876 by Robert Paget whose family still overseas the boats 145 years later.
Through June 20, the Swan Boats will operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm. From June 21 through Labor Day, they will operate every day from 10am-5pm.
